Shakeup in New Jersey Related to Physician-Owned ASCs
Legislators in the State of New Jersey recently passed a bill amending the 1991 Codey Law that banned physicians referring patients to ambulatory surgery centers in which the physician has a financial interest. Also contained in the Bill are provisions related to restrictions on newly licensed physician-owned ASCs.
