On February 6, 2007, HCC President, Robert James Cimasi testified in Jefferson City, MO, before the Missouri House of Representatives Special Committee on Healthcare Facilities regarding H.B. 466 to repeal CON in Missouri. He explained how research indicates that CON has failed to reduce costs or increase quality of care, thereby resulting in a failed health policy for Missouri citizens.
